Welcome to Entertainment For Kids!  I’m Faren and I will be bringing you all the latest in children’s television programming.  This is a topic I am quite passionate about as I have a two year old son who is a very discriminate watcher of kid’s shows.  I have to admit that even I am enjoying being able to watch my favorites from childhood again.  For research purposes, of course. *cough*

I have worked with children for over 12 years now in the educational capacity.  I’m a former teacher and elementary school librarian.  The librarian position really put me in touch with all of the areas of entertainment that children enjoy today.  I also have a degree in Political Science with minors in Psychology and Sociology.  I’m now enjoying a career change as a freelance writer.

My husband and I make our home in the Mississippi Delta with our son and two cats.
